The CD Edition of Amiga Forever contains a Videos section, which includes
several videos of historical interest:
- Launch of Amiga (1985, S-VHS Quality)
- Jay Miner Speech (1989, VHS Quality)
- Jay Miner Interview (1990, S-VHS Quality)
- The Deathbed Vigil (1994, VHS Quality)
The above items are not included in the Online Edition of Amiga Forever.
The Online Plus Pack includes an MP3 audio version of the Jay Miner
interview.
The VHS and S-VHS quality references in the above table respectively
indicate a 320x240 and 640x480 resolution, which was chosen in consideration
of the quality and content of the source material, and the available medium
capacity.
A slight lack of sharpness in the 640x480 material mostly reflects
limitations of the source footage. The 320x240 videos are
considerably sharper (also as a result of extensive processing), and it is recommended to view them at at least twice (200%)
their original pixel size. This is done automatically by HighMAT video
players.
The video files are stored in the "VIDEO" directory (in uppercase
characters, for compatibility with some DVD players) on the CD, and can be
accessed from the Videos tab of the Amiga Forever launcher, or inserting the
CD in a HighMAT video compatible DVD player.

section for additional media player installation instructions.
